Libelle n°4

A new month & again a new card.. I cut out the paper from the magazine (maybe it's a bit boring but don't worry, tomorrow I will show you the last card I made ;) ) and stamped Happy Birthday and added some rhinestones. I also want to share some ideas with you. The paper I stamped on and the first background paper were originially white but I used my Decorating Chalks to give them some color. It's one of the first things that I bought when I began to stamp and I used it all the time.. but then there were others things like the Distress Ink and I didn't use my Chalks anymore. Are there people who still use this? Second, because I wanted to be sure that my stamp would fit on the paper I stamped it first on some acetate (because it's a wooden stamp).

Een nieuwe maand & opnieuw een nieuwe kaart.. Ik knipte het papier uit de Libelle (misschien is het wat saai maar geen nood, morgen toon ik het laatste kaartje dat ik maakte ;) ) en stempelde Happy Birthday. De blinkende steentjes dienen als versiering. Ik wou ook wat ideeën met jullie delen. Het papier waarop ik heb gestempeld en het eerste achtergrondpapier waren oorspronkelijk wit maar ik gebruikte mijn Decorating Chalks om ze wat kleur te geven. Het is één van de eerste dingen die ik kocht wanneer ik begon te stempelen en ik gebruikte ze de hele tijd.. maar dan kwamen er andere dingen zoals de Distress Inkten en ik gebruikte mijn Chalks niet meer. Zijn er mensen die dit nog wel regelmatig gebruiken? Daarnaast wou ik ook zeker weten of mijn stempel wel paste in de kader. Daarom heb ik het eerst op 'plastiek' (acetate) gestempeld (omdat het een houten stempel is kan je niet goed zien hoe groot de stempel echt is).

Libelle n°3

Again a card with the paper from the magazine (see below). Actually this paper was meant to be used as frame for a picture, but I stamped a birdcage and 2 cute birds (stamps from Artemio). I also drew a black line by myself in the cage.

Opnieuw een kaartje met het papier van de Libelle (zie hieronder). Eigenlijk was dit papier bedoeld als kader om een foto in te plaatsen, maar ik stempelde een vogelkooi en 2 schattige vogeltjes (stempels van Artemio). Ik heb ook nog zelf een zwart lijntje getrokken in de kooi.

Libelle n°2

Hello ! This is the second card that I made with the paper from the magazine. I punched out some circles and added some color. I also stamped flowers on the background ( with VersaMark ink). As finishing touch I used my border punch. Tomorrow I'll show you the next card :)

Hallo! Dit is het tweede kaartje dat ik heb gemaakt met papier uit het tijdschrift Libelle. Ik heb enkele cirkels gemaakt met mijn pons en voegde weer wat kleur toe. Ik heb ook enkele bloemen op de achtergrond gestempeld (met VersaMark inkt). Om het af te maken heb ik m'n border punch gebruikt. Morgen toon ik het volgende kaartje :)
Als je zelf ook een kaartje hebt gemaakt met het papier uit de Libelle ben ik benieuwd om het te zien ?!

Libelle n°1

For this card (& the next ones that I will show you later) I used paper from a magazine. I cut it out and added some extra color with my copic markers. I also stamped a text and gave the birds eyes with some rhinestones.

Voor deze kaart (& de volgenden die ik later zal tonen) gebruikte ik papier van het tijdschrift Libelle. Ik heb het uitgeknipt en voegde wat extra kleur toe met mijn copic markers. Ik heb ook een tekst gestempeld en heb de vogeltjes oogjes gegeven met wat blinkende steentjes.

Valentine's Day n°2

As promised, my second valentine card.. I found my inspiration for the card here (Hero Arts stamp + ink). The idea for the envelope is from Kristina.

Valentine's Day n°1

Hello everyone! Valentine's day is not a day that is very special to me (I like my boyfriend the whole year ;) ) but I like making a card.. I have to use my heart stamps once a year :). I don't like the result of the cards because I think it is too 'busy' so that's why I made another one. I will show you tomorrow ;)

Hallo iedereen! Valentijn is niet zo'n speciale dag voor mij (ik zie mijn vriend het hele jaar door even graag;) ) maar ik hou er wel van om een kaartje te maken. Ik moet mijn hartjes stempels toch 1 keer per jaar gebruiken :). Ik vind het kaartje niet echt geslaagd, voor mij is het te 'druk' en daarom maakte ik er een ander. Ik zal het morgen tonen ;)

HAPPY 2012  !!

It was my dad's birthday and I made this card with a stamp from Pennyblack and some Copic Markers. To decorate I used a punch and some blue rhinestones. I also made an envelope.

EEN GELUKKIG 2012  !!

Voor de verjaardag van mijn vader maakte ik dit kaartje met een stempel van Pennyblack en wat Copic Markers. Om het nog wat te versieren heb ik een pons gebruikt en wat steentjes. Ook de envelop heb ik versierd.
